The 2007 Taipei Film Festival (台北電影節) which is sponsored by the Department of Cultural Affairs (台北市文化局) of the Taipei City Government (台北市政府), will run from 22 June to 9 July at four different locales in the Taipei area.

This annual film festival, which this year features a total of 188 Taiwanese and foreign films, usually attracts about 100,000 moviegoers a year and shows films from over 40 different countries. This is the ninth year the festival has been staged.

Tickets for weekday shows can be bought in advance for NT$100 for weekday shows and NT$150 for weekend shows. Tickets bought on-the-door will cost NT$120 for weekday shows and NT$180 for weekend shows. Advanced tickets are available online from ERA ticketing, (www.ticket.com.tw) 26 May through 21 June.
