"M. Butterfly," written by David Henry Hwang, is one of his Broadway masterpieces. "M. Butterfly" is adapted from a true story. This play won a Tony Award for best drama. During the Cultural Revolution in China, the East envied the power of the West, while the West coveted the property of the East. An unthinkable cross-border love contains 20 years of buried brutal truths.
