Taitung Railway Art Village (台東鐵道藝術村) presents art fans in south-eastern Taiwan an exhibition featuring a group of young musicians called Horse's Skin & Silk (馬皮絲絨).
Four young musicians from Taitung County created their own band music that combines folk-songs and soft rock. The songs were written to recall the outcast yet intoxicating city life they experienced in Taipei.
Titled Season Five: Resident Artist's Group Show at Taitung Railway Art Village (第五屆駐村藝術家介紹展醇創主義－馬皮絲絨音樂介紹展), the exhibition includes video works and band instruments from the group to showcase the up-and-coming spirits of the young artistic minds.
