Originally subordinate to the Bureau of Education, Taipei City Government, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum was transferred to Cultural Affairs Bureau when the Bureau was founded on November 6,1999. The Museum has departments of research, exhibition, acquisition and collection, education, general affairs and offices accounting, personnel, and governmental ethics. The General Affairs Department has the mechanic office and the security guards in charge of the whole museum’s mechanics and security. There are also the task-oriented, temporary sections of Public Relations Office, and the Section of Information Management.
